I just had a row with mum. Don't get me wrong, I love the woman to bits, but sometimes she's just.. soo… argh. You know?
Anyway, I skulked up the hill to sit with Great-Gramps, to ask him about my dad, as mum remembers nothing and Gran never mentions him, other than to say his name was "John Smith" which just sounds extremely fake to me, I mean, come on? Who really goes by the name John Smith?
So up the hill I skulked, greeted by Great-Gramps's grin and hug as usual. He always manages to make things better. He's getting rather old now, but he's showing no signs of EVER slowing down. Plus everyone loves him. It's hard not to love Wilf.
So we sat beneath the stars, and he told me of the time he had sat in that spot 17 years previously, watching mum fly off into the distance with a man named The Doctor. He told me about all these wonderful things she did, places she saw, and then, he told me about the Earth being invaded by aliens which looked like giant metal pepper pots, who were terrifying, and known as Daleks. I listened, eagerly, as I obviously would. He said that this was at the time when the 26 planets appeared in the sky – an event I knew had occurred about the time I was conceived, while mum was still travelling with this doctor.
He told me about how mum had saved the universe and had to have her memory wiped by the Doctor, then he said she could never be told, or she would burn up, her mind would completely destroy her. He told me that mum hadn't gone out on that night, and that he believed that I was a result of an instantaneous biological metacrisis which had occurred between the Doctor and my mother.. I didn't really believe him until he told me that the Doctor had two hearts.
I have two hearts.
So now, I have to find him, I need to find this Doctor, the Doctor and his blue box (which Great-Gramps said was called a TARDIS), and find out who he is, and all without mum finding out, as I really don't want her head to burn up… I've searched for him online, but there's not much information. I'll have to ask Millie. She's a bit of a computer nerd (love you Mil, but you are) she'll know how to search for him properly.
Anyway, bedtime.
Night All
