Mickey and his friends lead us over to what they called "the Invisible Lift" which we didn't believe at first but it turns out there WAS an invisible lift. It was so cool. We went down into this, like, underground bunker, or The Hub as it was known.
The minute we hit the floor, the handsome guy, Jack headed into his office, leaving us with Mickey, and the pretty dark haired woman who immediately said
"Hello. I'm Gwen Cooper. It's lovely to meet you both" in the most beautiful Welsh accent I'd ever heard.
We sat and chatted with Gwen for half an hour while Mickey set about playing around with the computer and this other guy, Ianto Jones, made us drinks of Hot Chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows. They were so nice.
After that time, Jack returned with piles of information about the Doctor... and my mother. I read through them. They included her blogs, the ones she had written while travelling with the Doctor, including her goodbye blog which she had written while the Doctor was saying goodbye to the other people who had travelled in the TARDIS, including Jack himself. Jack told me that the Doctor had fiddled with my mum's blog so that she could never get into it. Made sense, really.
All the information before me didn't actually tell me much about how to find the Doctor, but I soon found myself really wanting to meet him. He seemed amazing.
After a few hours of Doctor related research and Jack tips on how to find him, Gwen offered to drive us home to Chiswick as she didn't want us getting the train so late. We didn't want her to have to drive us so far but she insisted, and so we bundled into her car, me in the front, Millie in the back, and drove down the M4.
